Overview

How does this kitchen tap help to reduce your water and energy bills?
The Logis collection is part of hansgrohe’s EcoSmart range, where water is controlled by a flow restrictor, whilst an aerator inside the tap mixes in air with water. This technology reduces water consumption by up to 60% without any compromise on the water flow. This eco-friendly tap also comes with hansgrohe’s CoolStart technology, which only allows hot water to flow when the tap lever is moved - with standard taps, hot water flows and therefore energy is used when the lever is in the middle position. Using less water means you are also heating less, so replacing your current tap with an EcoSmart version will also help you reduce your energy bill.

How does this tap help to reduce your carbon footprint?
Using less water helps to save energy, because energy is needed to filter, heat and pump water to your home, so reducing your consumption also reduces your carbon footprint. Using less water also keeps more in our ecosystems, which helps to maintain biodiversity within wetlands.

Reducing your energy usage helps to reduce your carbon footprint, as it decreases the demand for fossil fuels and, in turn, lowers the levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.

How does this tap help to reduce landfill?
hansgohe keep spare parts for their taps for fifteen years after the product is discontinued, so in the unlikely event that anything should go wrong you can repair your tap rather than replacing it, helping to reduce waste in landfill and in turn your carbon footprint.
