Overview
How does this kitchen tap help to reduce your water and energy bills?
This Focus kitchen mixer tap helps tap helps you to reduce your water and energy use by running at 12lpm - older kitchen taps can run up to 15lpm. Using less heated and cold water helps to reduce both your energy and water bills, which in turn helps to reduce your carbon footprint.
To reduce your water and energy bills even further purchase an aerator, sometimes called a flow regulator with the hansgrohe Focus to reduce water use to 7lpm. An aerator is easy to fit yourself and simply mixes air into the water flow to further reduce water passing through the tap.
How does this tap help to reduce your carbon footprint?
Using less water helps to save energy, because energy is needed to filter, heat and pump water to your home, so reducing your consumption also reduces your carbon footprint. Using less water also keeps more in our ecosystems, which helps to maintain biodiversity within wetlands.
Reducing your energy usage helps to reduce your carbon footprint, as it decreases the demand for fossil fuels and, in turn, lowers the levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
