The Vecta+ Sensor Tap is a hygienic low flow eco tap that is easy to install either in a retrofit project or specified into a new build project.

The sensor tap has a low flow rate and water usage, this is further reduced by the sensor operation that ensures the valve is only open when the user places their hand underneath.

The taps have a stylish and modern design, with highly-intelligent technology that offer a safeguard to misuse and vandalism. The tap comes with a 3.5 lpm flow regulator as standard, along with a 5 lpm flow regulator included in the box, to support environmental building schemes such as BREEAM.

The tap is easy to install and maintain. Swapping out existing taps to the Vecta+ is straightforward and ongoing maintenance is easy due to the external solenoid.

The tap comes with the safety shut off feature to reduce risk of flooding. After 60 seconds of continuous water activation by sensor detection, the tap will automatically stop the flow of water to reduce the risk of flooding.

The smart shutoff feature switches off water flow in the event of a power cut, also reducing the risk of a flooding event.

How it works

Hand operation activates the sensor for the water flow. No contact is required. The sensor automatically activates the externally–sited solenoid valve. When the user’s hands are moved away, the flow of water stops after a 2 second delay.

The 3.5 litres per minute flow rate is efficient and is ideal for basins that have no plug, and where water regulations state that the flow rate must not exceed 3.6 litres per minute.

This model of flow restrictor is non – aerated and thus suitable for high risk applications such as medical facilities and care homes, where the risk to users of Legionella and other water – carried respiratory contacted viruses / bacteria is high.

The Vecta+ Sensor Tap is the ideal sensor tap for commercial washroom environments. It is water-efficient, hygienic, reliable, and easy to maintain. The product comes with a 1 year warranty as standard, however the warranty can be extended to 3 years if the product is registered with the manufacturer or vendor.
