How to fit a tap aerator
Tap aerators are amazing water saving devices that can reduce your water consumption by more than 50%

1: MEASURE
your current flow rate with one of our easy to use flow bags
2: UNSCREW
the end housing of the tap (you might need one of our special tools or a wrench if it’s tight)
3: REMOVE
the housing, discard the old filter if one was installed and clean away any limescale
4: CHECK
the components of your new tap aerator; the housing, the regulator, and a washer
5: ASSEMBLE
the regulator into the housing and loosely place the washer on top
6: SCREW BACK ONTO THE TAP
being careful not to over-tighten, then turn the tap on and check for leaks
7: SEE HOW MUCH YOU’RE SAVING!
Use your flow bag again to measure the new flow rate and see how much water you’re saving
