Club Member of the Month: Donna

Meet Donna, our latest Home Club Member of the Month Donna is a mum of 2 girls, servant to 2 cats and a wife of 1. She firmly believes that there is always a solution to a problem and can run better in heels than in trainers.

We spoke to her about her sustainable living adventures!

What made you want to live more sustainably?

My Mum has always been a bit of an eco-warrior even before it was a thing. I can vividly recall her flattening all the Christmas wrapping paper after we had unwrapped our gifts on Christmas morning as she would recycle anything and everything she could. Mum hates waste and this has been ingrained in us since we were small (which is a surprisingly long time ago now). As a Mum myself now, I can see the importance of preserving our planet for my own children and their children so I want to do everything I now can to help us live more sustainably and encourage them to do the same.

Which sustainable swap are you most proud of?

My favourite swap, without question, is the Stasher Bag.

Why do you love it so much?

I fear I am a little addicted to them! I couldn’t quite believe that I could put it in the freezer, in the microwave and even the oven. It has replaced so many plastic items in my kitchen, from microwave steam bags to lunch and snack pots for my girls.
