- Externally, we are proud to share our successes through a variety of local, national and international charitable initiatives, including supporting rainforests in Peru and Ecuador.
Community Active
We involve others through extensive education and free advice, active campaigns, local and national media discussions on the green agenda, and extensive social media engagement.
Greenlight Trust
We have worked with the Greenlight Trust, an environmental education registered charity based in Suffolk. SaveMoneyCutCarbon has held workshops for the Trust to advise local people and businesses on ways to reduce carbon footprint and cut energy/water bills, actively encouraging sustainable environmental policies.
Trust’s Low Carbon Champions
We have also supported the Trust’s Low Carbon Champions initiative, which offered support to 85 small to medium sized businesses in Suffolk (including social enterprises) to cut carbon and save on energy bills.
Following up on our Greenlight Trust work, we have also carried out free lighting efficiency surveys for a wide range of local businesses, including hotels, a printing firm, racing stables, dairy, disability charity and children’s nursery, advising on ways to cut energy consumption through LED lighting refits.
We have also given free energy and water efficiency advice at Suffolk Enterprise Agency Menta trade events.
