- Externally, we are proud to share our successes through a variety of local, national and international charitable initiatives, including supporting rainforests in Peru and Ecuador.
Community Active
We involve others through extensive education and free advice, active campaigns, local and national media discussions on the green agenda, and extensive social media engagement.
Green Light Trust
We are working with Green Light Trust, which offers expert-led wellbeing and educational programmes in woodlands in Suffolk and Norfolk, helping adults, children and young people to refocus, rebuild their lives and thrive. We are supporting them as our chosen Charity of the Year and have a number of plans in place to work with them on, including enjoying some fun fundraising events with our team to help raise funds.
Trust’s Low Carbon Champions
We have also supported the Trust’s Low Carbon Champions initiative, which offered support to 85 small to medium sized businesses in Suffolk (including social enterprises) to cut carbon and save on energy bills.
Following up on our Green Light Trust work, we have also carried out free lighting efficiency surveys for a wide range of local businesses, including hotels, a printing firm, racing stables, dairy, disability charity and children’s nursery, advising on ways to cut energy consumption through LED lighting refits.
We have also given free energy and water efficiency advice at Suffolk Enterprise Agency Menta trade events.
