Today, water-reduction company Smartvatten announces a partnership with SaveMoneyCutCarbon, the digital aggregator providing a unique marketplace which brings together both effective products, implementation and specialist advice.

Smartvatten is the leading supplier of water efficiency technology and expertise in Northern Europe. Their products have been deployed in 36 countries with 20,000+ buildings and 200,000+ apartments using their monitoring technology. The company has chosen SaveMoneyCutCarbon as the first partner in Britain to help them expand their offering.

Smartvatten value SaveMoneyCutCarbon’s mission statement and ethos, recognising that the company can add value to interactions with their clients to support widespread adoption of their products in the UK marketplace, as well as audit and installation.

SaveMoneyCutCarbon is confident that Smartvatten has the right water monitoring solution to add to their platform of trusted brands and suppliers, with this view reinforced by initial installation work which demonstrated the qualities of the product, ease of installation and its performance.

Smartvatten monitoring technology enables businesses to analyse their water consumption in real time and gain insight into their water consumption profile through data-driven analysis. The technology collects data and ensures ongoing monitoring of the water meters, including both main and sub-meters.

Consumption and leakage data is stored and analysed in Smartvatten’s dedicated water analytics platform and the data gleaned can typically result in a 20% water reduction through interventions, as unique algorithms scan and accurately detect small and big leakages.

Water is often the most neglected factor in Environmental. Social and Governance (ESG) strategies, but real time water monitoring through Smartvatten can help businesses achieve their sustainability goals and is compliant with the BREEAM; LEED; GRESB and Green Key frameworks.

The Smartvatten water monitoring solution completes SaveMoneyCutCarbon’s holistic Water Reduction offering, which recently saw the addition of rainwater harvesting. Water usage is part of the UK sustainability agenda, and the technology will support customers in delivering water efficiency projects, while supporting decarbonisation strategies.

Founded in 2012, SaveMoneyCutCarbon has helped its customers to reduce their carbon footprint whilst saving money by using water and energy in more sustainable ways. The company has gone from strength to strength, with over 1000 audit and installation projects completed to date. It has also been recognised with selection as NHS Sustainability Supplier of the Year for its ongoing with Cambridge University Hospitals’ world-famous Addenbrooke’s Hospital.

Alex Forcella, Commercial Partnership Director, Smartvatten:

“We are looking forward to working with SaveMoneyCutCarbon in delivering our solutions across Britain. At Smartvatten, we believe that ‘Every drop counts’. We work to save hundreds of millions of litres of water every year and to achieve that goal, knowledge is key. That’s why our products and services cover the entire water cycle. Every day, we work toward a future where clean water is valued and its responsible use is an ongoing, worldwide effort.”

Chris Brooks, Head of Water Reduction at SaveMoneyCutCarbon:

“I’m very pleased to announce this partnership with Smartvatten. Leading the Water Reduction team, I am always seeking to connect clients with the best solutions and keep pace with movements in the market. The need for a sophisticated and modern approach to water measurement is emerging in the marketplace and will become a crucial component of supporting water efficiency frameworks going forward.
